To the customers (be it wholesaler, supplier or end user), it doesn't matter what had happened. Once a product does not meet the standard specified, it is a defect.

If an end-user used the screw driver and stupidly hurt himself, that idiot can suit the manufacturer for that and there's a high chance that the idiot will win because the product does not meet the specifications. If that happens, there will be millions of dollars involved because of a stupid screw driver and an idiot user.; February 15, 2007 at 8:27:00 PM MST
